Wonderwool Wales set to return in 2022

By Emily Peagram 30 Nov 2021

The award-winning celebration of Welsh wool and natural fibres, Wonderwool Wales returns in 2022 after a two-year pandemic-enforced absence. The event’s stylish return is planned for April 23 and 24 at the Royal Welsh Showground in Bluith Wells when the halls will be filled with hand dyed yarns and fibre for visitors to stock up on.

Alongside live demos, interactive sessions and more than 200 exhibitors, visitors to the show will be treated to two eye-catching exhibitions - a collection of knitted and crocheted maps of seven different places around the UK and a quirky exhibit titled Alice in Wonderwool.

The event has been buoyed by support from the Wales Cultural Recovery Fund. Director of Wonderwool Wales, Chrissie Menzies said: “We are very grateful for grant support from the Wales Cultural Recovery Fund which has enabled us to press ahead with plans for Wonderwool Wales in April next year.”

Tickets for the show can be bought online from mid-December and applications to exhibit are open now until December 31st. For more information visit
