West Design sets its sights on national award

By Mark Hayhurst 01 Oct 2018

West Design Products are a finalist in the Amazon Growing Business Awards.

The awards champion UK SMEs and are the most established and respected celebration of entrepreneurial success in the UK.

Jo Bray, Sales and Marketing Managing Director for West Design explained what being shortlisted means to the company. “We are completely overwhelmed to be a finalist in the Amazon Growing Business Awards! We were shocked to have been selected as a finalist for the Creative Industry Business of the Year as it is such a competitive industry.”

Being shortlisted for the award is a real highlight for West Design, who have gone from strength-to-strength throughout 2018. The award itself celebrates innovation and excellence in businesses who operate in the creative industries, something West has in abundance.

Proving to be market-leaders and product pioneers in the arts, crafts and stationery arena, West Design is constantly evolving to ensure it never loses sight of what drives the business forward. Jo added: “To be recognised on a nationwide level really shows how far the company has come in terms of making an impact and being a key player in the creative market place. The acknowledgement has really inspired us as a team to keep doing what we’re already are, leading from the front and ensuring that innovation and customer care is at the heart of everything we do.”

With previous winners at the awards including companies like Trunki, GoApe! and Perkbox and entering their 20th year, the awards have grown to be the most credible and highly valued recognition of growing businesses in the UK.

West Design now becomes one of five finalists for the award and finds itself amongst some truly prestigious brands, however, the company is taking it all in its stride.

Jo said: “We’re really humbled to even be nominated, but to win would be outstanding in such a strong field. We are really looking forward to taking part in the judging day and the whole experience.”

The award ceremony takes place on November 28, 2018.
