Urban Fashion Brand Blake 52 Launches New ‘Pony Club’ Apparel Collection for Autumn/ Winter 2020

By Emily Peagram 09 Sep 2020

South East London’s edgy and diverse fashion brand Blake 52 has today launched its brand new ‘Pony Club’ collection, with fresh designs, graphic tees and sequin motif jumpers.

Blake 52, one of London’s most celebrated urban apparel brands well known for its iconic Peckham Riviera t-shirts and Rainbow sequin motif jumpers, is this week launching a brand new collection called ‘Pony Club’, inspired by the edgy and unpretentious buzz of South East London combined with the cultural contrast of the rest of the city.

Founded by celebrity stylists Katie Greengrass and Georgie Hillier, their previous work includes costume design, performance styling and arena tours for celebrities such as Plan B and Robbie Williams. The new ‘Pony Club’ collection is a range of new designs of their signature graphic tees and sequin motif jumpers, all inspired by the culture and vibrancy of opposing sides of the city. The new autumn/ winter 20 collection includes Peace, Cross, Cameo and Pony Club screen printed graphic t-shirts and sequin motif jumpers, and sits proudly alongside Blake 52’s existing core collection.

Speaking on the new collection, Katie Greengrass comments:

“We are so excited to be bringing our best collection yet to our customers. Our clothing is super wearable and amazing quality, and our heart and soul goes into everything that we create. As a brand, we make sure that we never lose sight of our roots and the rich community we call home, and the ‘Pony Club’ collection is a total reflection of the urban, edgy influences of South East London coming together with the old school, historical elements of other parts of London. This collection is essentially a celebration of our amazingly vibrant & culturally diverse city”.

Blake 52 is celebrated by people of different ages and backgrounds, with all items sold being unisex and versitile in wearability. Since the company was first envisioned in a beach bar in Barbados, where the two friends met years ago, Katie and Georgie founded Blake 52 in 2018. Since then, Blake 52 has continued to grow in popularity and has been endorsed by a number of high profile stars including This Morning’s Lisa Snowdon, actor Ashley Walters and Nadine Coyle from Girls Aloud.
