Tiny Box Launches New Website as Customers Turn Craft Hobbies Into Businesses

By Emily Peagram 28 Aug 2020

Eco-friendly gift packaging company, Tiny Box Company, has launched a new website to cater for the surge in demand for online gift boxes and packaging for craft businesses.

The enhanced site is a response to the change in retail habits over the last few months as many more customers have turned from high street to online, and some have taken their hobby and turned it into a business.

The new site has a fresh layout enabling faster, easier navigation and exciting new features, including a Tiny World packed with business advice, eco-tips and branding inspiration to help crafters make the best first impression with their packaging. The Box Finder panel makes it easy to find the perfect size for products, and each box has an interactive sticker proclaiming its eco-credentials.

Tiny Marketplace - Tiny Box Company’s e-commerce platform for handmade gifts and crafts - has had a makeover too, so it’s even easier to showcase, sell and dispatch pieces without leaving home. 10% of the net profit made from Tiny Marketplace is pumped back into helping startups and small businesses grow.

Tiny Box Company’s Managing Director, Rachel Watkyn, said:

“Buying habits are changing and there is definitely a renewed interest in buying online and buying sustainably. The majority of our products are ethically sourced, recycled or recyclable, so we recognised that there was an opportunity to rebuild our site to meet that shift.

“Our intuitive search facility and new features have been requested by our customers. For example, our Business Hub is here to help you with everything you need to grow your business. We know that the right packaging makes all the difference - so our Get the Best out of your Box feature will help you find exactly the right size and feel to impress your customers.

“Our new site is packed with tips, trends and discounts specifically for crafters and designers. Come on in!”
