The Craft Business Awards are back and are better than ever

By Mark Hayhurst 16 Jul 2019

The Craft Business Awards, brought to you by Craft Business magazine, are open for nominations, so why not make this year the one your brand or business leader gets recognised for their fantastic work?

The Craft Business Awards, in their 15th year, are back and are bigger and brighter than ever before. With new categories and a glittering panel of star-studded judges, these standard-defining awards not only mean status for the winners, but better business too. And now’s your chance to nominate your brand or product for an award.

Winning a Craft Business Award can mean a lot to you and your business. Not only will you receive your trophy at a glitzy champagne reception at CHSI Stitches in February, enjoying the chance to meet not just the Craft Business magazine team, but the entire Aceville craft department’s journalists, but you can also look forward to extensive coverage in Craft Business magazine and its accompanying website and social media.

Editor Mark Hayhurst said: “The Craft Business Awards have become bigger and better every year, engaging not only the industry but your customers as well. The awards honour the hard work everyone puts into their companies and products, and they offer a feel-good factor that make handing out the prizes a real highlight of the team’s year.”

And, if you’re one of our Industry Elite Awards entrants, your product or idea will be put in front of some of the most exciting names in the industry.

The Craft Business Awards cover everything from independent shops and products, right up to big brands. Each category aims to celebrate and recognise excellence within our vibrant sector.

Last year’s awards received over 26,000 votes and reached over 115,000 people.

Eighteen of the categories are free to enter, including Best Independent Retailer, because although this is a judged category, Craft Business remains committed to supporting retail. This year there are four Industry Elite categories whereby on entering and being shortlisted, your product, campaign or brand will have the chance to be put in front of one of our esteemed judges. The cost per entry for these categories is £100 (plus VAT), but if you nominate before July 26, you can enter for the special price of £75 (plusVAT).
