Small Business Saturday Celebrates The Tour’s 10th Anniversary

By Emily Peagram 06 Oct 2022

The iconic Small Business Saturday UK Tour will hit the road again this November 2022. Calling at 23 different towns and cities across the UK, the special ten-year anniversary Tour will mark the official countdown to Small Business Saturday on 3 December.

Once again supported by BT Skills for Tomorrow, โ€˜The Tourโ€™ will kick off in Glasgow on Monday 31st October, and travel across the UK for five weeks, spotlighting Britainโ€™s small businesses, alongside an online programme full of business advice, support, and inspiration!

Small Business Saturday aims to be as sustainable as possible, given the vital role small firms play in the race to net zero, so they will be touring with a fleet of electric and zero-emissions vehicles. They are planning an exciting line-up of activities in the locations they are travelling to, as well as a jam-packed schedule of expert interviews, workshops, and mentoring online. Each day they will visit inspiring small businesses that they meet on The Tour, live streaming interviews with business owners and local leaders on their Instagram channel - @smallbizsatuk, as they show the ropes at their businesses and around their local areas.

Once again, The Tour will offer free 1-1 mentoring sessions. A range of amazing business experts (including many from supporter BT), will be available to offer individual help and advice on topics that business owners need help brainstorming. You will soon be able to book your virtual mentoring session via your My Small Business account.

The Tour will also offer a daily selection of free workshops on useful topics; from boosting your sales and digital marketing, to managing time and money better. In addition, the small business Happy Hour live series will return each day of The Tour, bringing a daily dose of positivity and the chance to win fantastic prizes from small businesses in the local areas visited.
