Sewing for Pleasure Show Postponed Following Coronavirus Developments

By Emily Peagram 12 Mar 2020

Sewing for Pleasure, Fashion & Embroidery and the Creative Craft Show, which was due to run from 19-22 March at the NEC Birmingham has been postponed to protect the health and wellbeing of visitors, exhibitors and staff.

The following statement from the organisers of the show has been released:

As the situation surrounding COVID-19 continues to develop both in the UK and globally, the health and wellbeing of our visitors, exhibitors and staff is our number one priority. It is with great regret that we have taken the decision to postpone Sewing for Pleasure, Fashion & Embroidery and the Creative Craft Show – 19-22 March, NEC Birmingham.

Following talks with the NEC we have secured new dates to run Sewing for Pleasure and Fashion & Embroidery alongside the Creative Craft Show at the NEC, Birmingham from 25-28 June.

As you will know, the shows are hugely popular and in demand - this postponement will mean we will deliver these three major shows, at the same size and scale of the March event, to our loyal audiences in June.

Exhibitors who have booked a stand and visitors who have purchased tickets for the March NEC show will be transferred to the new dates in June you do not need to do anything we will transfer the bookings for you or alternatively if you cannot make the new dates we will offer you the chance to transfer to another ICHF show or receive a refund.

We are of course extremely disappointed given the preparation that goes into the shows from all involved. We look forward to continuing to work with our community of exhibitors, sponsors and visitors to deliver great shows for everyone.

Please call a member of the sales team to discuss your options we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible:
