Sequin Art has launched a new Poppies craft project for Remembrance Day.
The company, based in Swaffham, is donating £1 to the Walking With The Wounded charity for each Poppies design sold on their official website.
Walking With The Wounded helps vulnerable veterans to re-integrate back into society and sustain their independence. Their aim is to assist veterans through various programmes and training to start a career outside of the military.
Sequin Art has been manufacturing the sparkling Sequin Art projects for 32 years in their purpose-built factory in Swaffham and distributes them to over 20 different countries. The new Poppies craft project was designed by two Norfolk-based designers, Norman Pearce and Denise McKeating.
The craft kit comes with easy to follow instructions and features three blooming poppy flowers. It allows craft enthusiasts to create a beautiful Poppies picture using colourful sequins and pins.
The Poppies design is ideal for adults and children eight years and over.
Meryl Smith, Director of Sequin Art, said: “Walking With The Wounded plays an important role helping our veterans and their families build a brighter future. We are delighted to be supporting this fantastic charity and raise funds with our new Sequin Art Poppies design. The poppy flower is a symbol of remembrance and hope and is a fitting design for the Walking With The Wounded charity’s valuable work.”
The Poppies design is now available to purchase from the official Sequin Art website.
