Peter Bowen Art Creates New Unique Quirky Handmade Ceramic Clocks for The Home

By Emily Peagram 08 Jul 2021

Created by master craftsman Peter Bowen in his ceramic studio in the quiet serenity of the Somerset countryside surrounded by lush green fields and small farms, his unique and quirky ceramic clocks to add some timely cheer to every home.

The quirky designs are based on Peter’s classical art training and creative development process. Each piece is formed using earthenware clay, finished and left to dry slowly for about two weeks.

These clocks have battery operated silent quartz movements and require one AA battery that lasts a long time. This whimsical design for clocks is 23cm high (9 inches), 14cm wide (5.5 inches), 7cm (3 inches) front to back and sits comfortably on a shelf or mantle. The sweep second hand is non ticking. These clocks make wonderful house warming gifts.
