Hobbycraft Signs up To Support Hideout Youth Zone

Launched in Manchester in September 2020, the £6.6 million HideOut Youth Zone has quickly earned a reputation as a sought-after safe space for local youngsters; and already has over 2000 young people signed up as members.
The charity provides an inspiring place for thousands of young people from across Manchester, aged 8 – 19 and up to 25 for those with additional needs, to enjoy their leisure time 7 days a week. The charity provides a diverse range of Youth Work activities for just £5 annual membership and 50p a visit. They include sports, dance, drama and music, gardening, hairdressing, cookery, film and digital media.
HideOut also provides a vibrant arts and crafts offer and we will be working closely with Hobbycraft to further develop this work. Over the coming year(s) the partnership will provide young people with exciting opportunities to test out new technologies, run arts & crafts takeover days, access employability and enterprise workshops and much more.

About HideOut Youth Zone
HideOut Youth Zone opened in September 2020 and provides safe and inspiring place for thousands of young people aged 8 – 19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs, to enjoy their leisure time. Located on Hyde Road in Gorton, Manchester, HideOut is a charity dedicated to supporting young people by providing three things which all young people need and deserve – somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to.
We are open whenever school is closed, evenings, weekends and throughout the school holidays.
