GMC Distribution acquires new list from Tuva Publishing

By Mark Hayhurst 05 Aug 2019

GMC Distribution announces new addition to their client portfolio, which already includes Sterling Publishing, The Taunton Press and selected Penguin Random House US imprints.

Tuva Publishing’s books will now be available to all UK and worldwide customers (excluding North America/Canada). Established in 2004, Tuva Publishing is a Turkish publisher of a wide selection of craft books, all highly illustrated in full colour and featuring comprehensive instructions.

Their specialist titles cover popular subjects including knitting & crochet, sewing & quilting, embroidery & cross stitch, painting & lettering and origami & papercraft, in addition to a new range of children’s project books.

They work with expert authors in their interest fields from around the world to offer the best quality titles to their readers. GMC is a leading distributor, selling an extensive range of books across both traditional trade and specialist craft & gift markets. The Tuva list is a welcome addition to both categories, particularly their targeted Art & Craft catalogue, where it brings a wider selection of cross stitch and papercraft titles.

Michael Robb, GMC’s sales director, said: “We are delighted to welcome Tuva Publishing and we look forward to introducing our customers to their strong range of contemporary craft titles, across a wide range of topics. The inclusion of this list is a positive sign of our growth as a distributor and why crafters and retailers alike should look to us for their craft book needs.”

Comprising new titles for the autumn and a solid backlist, over 70 books are now added to the list.

Highlighted titles include; Baby Knits, Hand Lettering, Brush Lettering, Floral Watercolour, Paper Cutting, Dinosaur Origami, Paper Drone, Cutest Crochet Creations, Over 120 Crochet Flowers and Blocks and Children’s Creative Craft Projects.

Tuva’s list of authors include notable craft names Susie Johns, Jodi Godfrey and Suzana Lima. A launch catalogue featuring the complete Tuva list will be available from September.
