A NEW family-run craft business has launched in Dorset, in the heart of the Jurassic Coast.
After many long months of renovating the former British Legion Club in West Lulworth, Dorset, father and son Stuart and Matthew Beavan have finally opened Create at the Cove, home to a wealth of craft activities such as painting pottery and decopatch along with a welcoming tea room serving local beverages.
With no wifi , there are no distractions, allowing you to spend quality time with family and friends and take in the beautiful scenery surrounding the building.
Matthew Beaven said: “We’ve both got backgrounds in tourism and last year, after a much needed coastal walk, we talked about working together to develop a creative place that adults could enjoy as well as the children. We offer everything you need to take some precious time out.”
Create at the Cove offers a welcoming and relaxing environment to visitors of all ages. Local beverages and cake give visitors the perfect opportunity for a pit-stop and there is ample on-site free parking
As the venue accommodates large numbers, it can be used to host parties, school groups, clubs and corporate away days. It also serves as a quiet place to relax in a stress-free environment for some much needed time-out.
Stuart Beavan said: “We couldn’t have done this without the help and support from our family and friends. Everyone helped make this dream come true, and that includes the grandchildren! We have had so much positive feedback since we opened the doors to the public and we are on cloud nine.”
Open every day from 10am till 6pm, Stuart and Matthew are looking forward to welcoming everyone through their door.
