Emma May joins Stylecraft blogstars

Stylecraft is adding to their current band of Blogstars.
Emma May was born in the Midlands and is the brains behind online crochet group Pippin Poppycock, which started about three years ago.
Emma said: “Pippin Poppycock began because I was looking for a knitting or crochet group near to where I now live in the US.” She found it easier to meet people online and formed the group on Facebook with a willing band of helpers.
When Pippin Poppycock started the Demelza CAL, by fellow Blogstar Catherine Bligh, the group began to grow and grow and grow. From 14 online friends the fans now number over 28,000.
Emma added: “As well as writing about crochet on the blog, we also host regular crochet-alongs and Sunday socials on our Facebook page.”
Emma’s favourite yarns are Stylecraft Special DK and Classique Cotton and she is very excited to be joining the Blogstars: “As such a huge Stylecraft fan I am delighted to become part of such an amazing group of talented knitters and crocheters.”
Annabelle Hill, Sales and Marketing Director, said: “We are thrilled that Emma has agreed to become a Blogstar. What she and her team have achieved with Pippin Poppycock is quite remarkable and her enthusiasm for her craft is infectious.”
Currently Emma is preparing for 2019, with five colour theory lessons, new and exciting patterns coming to her Pride of Gypsies collection and there is even a hint of a Spring CAL in the works.
