Craft Buddy expands its team following impressive growth

By Mark Hayhurst 23 Oct 2019

Craft Buddy has expanded its team on the back of new licensing and distribution deals.

The arts and crafts company, best known for its Crystal Art brand and papercrafting products, has experienced robust levels of growth in new and existing markets, with sales across Europe proving to be particularly strong in the UK, Germany and Benelux, and recent distribution deals signed in the USA and Australia.

With over ten years of category experience, new Marketing Manager Shamini Soma joins Craft Buddy having worked in a number of different sectors at senior level. With experience at both national and global level, she will be helping to develop the company’s marketing strategy in order for Craft Buddy to continue to achieve their ambitious international growth and brand building targets into 2020.

New Trade Assistant Manager, Rohin Kotecha, joins the team as a Cardiff University graduate where he built his strong base of knowledge studying French and Economics over a four-year academic course. Already building strong relationships with Craft Buddy’s valued trade partners, Rohin is pivotal to ensure consistent support for the company’s expanding retail base, both home and abroad.

Hannah Cheveralls joins Craft Buddy as the new Finance Manager having learned her trade working in the insurance industry. Hannah brings her tenacity and work ethic alongside her relevant experience as she takes on responsibility for all areas of Craft Buddy’s accounts and finance.

Gary Wadhwani, co-founder, said: “We are delighted to have expanded our Craft Buddy team. We look forward to the contribution their experience and skills will bring to the team in order for us to continue to deliver the best for our customers, both trade and retail.”
