Nabil Rab, CEO at Altenew, covers the essential plans for his established papercraft company…
How has your involvement in the Craft Business Awards boosted your company? It has been motivational to work towards earning recognition for stellar customer service and innovative products. Thanks for the opportunity.
What would you say is your company’s biggest achievement so far? Over 80% of our transactions are from repeat customers. We are humbled that our customers/fans keep coming back and continue to support us. This re-energizes our team and makes us work harder to inspire them with our products and projects.
What are your business goals for 2020? In addition to designing innovative stamps/dies/inks, we are working to continue introducing new categories for paper crafters. We are planning to launch products that can also help with DIY home decor projects.
Tell us about your latest product releases. We recently launched a set of artist-grade watercolors and a versatile mat that will absolutely upgrade the crafter’s workspace. Additionally, we have a monthly stamp and coordinating die release and exclusive monthly subscriptions of Build-A-Flower stamp/die products and Paint-A-Flower stamps. We pay special attention to inspiring paper crafters and routinely share project inspiration through our blogs and social media channels.
What shows/trade events are you planning to attend/exhibit at this year? We typically exhibit at Creativation and Creative World. In addition, we plan to exhibit at The 44th Japan Hobby Show 2020 this year. In the past, we have exhibited at the One Big Show in the UK and ISOT.
What are the best ways for consumers to interact with your company? Do you maintain a strong presence on social media?
