Hobbycraft has announced the winners of its summer kids' competition.
They will now sit on a ‘Kids Craft Panel’ and be given products to test and review before they hit the shelves.
Over the summer, over 500 children entered the national competition with the winners receiving a £100 gift card as well as their spot on the panel.
Winners: Uunder five: Riley Murray (Altrincham), Joseph Green (West Yorkshire), Zachary Loi (Norwich).
Six-eight: Evan Hughes (Hawarden), Martin Wellstead (Wimborne).
Nine-11: Melissa Facey (Reddich), Lily Prosser (Seaford), Mia Walton (Orpington).
12-14: Katelan Carter (Crawley), Rosie Chambers (Erith).
The first hampers will be heading out in the next few weeks, and will include new products and projects for the kids to get hands on with to review.
The feedback from the panel will be reviewed by Hobbycraft as well as appear on the Hobbycraft blog and social media channels.
Katherine Paterson, customer development director at Hobbycraft said: “We’re really excited to be announcing the winners of the panel and would firstly like to thank everyone who entered. We’ve had some great responses from some very crafty kids.
“For us at Hobbycraft, we want to make it as easy as possible for parents to get making with their children and for kids to feel confident enough to get crafty. So, what better way to find out if what we are selling and the projects that we are creating work, than by asking children themselves. We can’t wait to see what they think of what we have coming up.”
