Vote Now In the Craft Business Awards 2017
The Craft Business Awards have been supporting the craft industry for 11 years, with many brands, big and small, having been awarded for their excellent service and innovation they bring to the sector.
These awards are incredibly valued by the trade because they are entirely voted for by you, their customers. This is your chance to say thank you to those who have helped and supported your business over the years.
In the first nomination stage of the awards, craft manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors invited their customers to put them forward for an award category. The full list of nominees has been drawn, as seen below; now is your chance to vote on who you consider to be the stars of the industry.
This year saw the introduction of three new and exciting categories to the proceedings. The new categories - Best European/International Brand, Best Marketing Campaign and Best Show (Consumer or Trade) - will allow you to celebrate and award even more brands and companies than ever before.
In addition, the product categories - Best New Product, Most Innovative Product Range and Best Tools, Storage & Accessories - will be judged by a panel of industry experts, offering companies the opportunity to get their products in front of influential decision makers. Look out for more information on who they will be in the coming weeks on the Craft Business website (www.craftbusiness.com).
Last year’s winners of Best Knitting & Crochet Manufacturer/Wholesale/Distributor and Best of British, West Yorkshire Spinners, said: “We were absolutely thrilled to be nominated in the Best Knitting & Crochet and Best of British categories at the 2016 Craft Business Awards. To win Highly Commended awards in both categories, with competition from some of the leading brands in UK craft market, was a fantastic and unexpected surprise. We have such an enthusiastic and dedicated team here at the factory, it feels great to be recognised and rewarded for all the hard work.”
Groves and Banks said: “This is a creative industry that we are very passionate about. As a privately-owned family business it was simply overwhelming to win not one, but two awards.”
This year the awards are sponsored by Worldpay, a global leader in payment processing technology and solutions for its merchant customers.
Commenting on the partnership, James Frost, chief marketing officer of Worldpay UK said: “Worldpay is proud to sponsor the Craft Business Awards, which shares our values of celebrating innovation and imagination. The creative industries are one of the UK’s greatest success stories, growing at almost twice the rate of the wider economy and worth a staggering £84 billion a year. We want to enable the businesses within this dynamic sector to harness the opportunities that this growth offers by accepting payments seamlessly and securely on and offline.”
